ARTIST WRITER RETREATS RELAXATION, FREEDOM, & ILLUMINATION IMPROVING THE CREATIVE CALL WITHIN
ARTISTS' WRITER RETREATS, CONFERENCES, & WORKSHOPS
Artist Writer Retreats remove the walls that deprive the creative person of the soul’s creative powers. Without this, their daily thoughts and routines can weaken their creative powers and their creative works can suffer as a result. Retreats restore their creative powers.
Artist writer retreats are places for fulfilling creative and authentic experiences. Artists, writers, and all creative people need to indulge themselves to spend time away from their work, neighborhood, and daily routines. They need room to “see” and “breath”. They need to reignite their creative powers with a retreat, tour, or workshop.

Campobello Island, New Brunswick was made famous by the US President, Franklin D. Roosevelt, whose family had a summer cottage on the island. Over one-third of the island consists of parklands and provides plenty of opportunity for painting.
Campobello Island has plenty of lodging such as Friars Bay Syudio Gallery located in Welshpool on Campobello, and the workshop will most likely paint on the island within a few miles of Welshpool. When you make inquiries for lodging, remember the time difference. Campobello is one hour ahead of Lubec, Maine, and the workshop will start at 9:00am each day. See if you can arrange breakfast to meet this schedule.
Two websites give many options for lodging. These are www.visitlubecmaine.com and www.campobello.com .
Mentoring Workshops for Intermediate-Advanced art students will also be available in Sedona, Arizona from mid-January thru mid-March. “A mentoring workshop is not just about advanced instruction. It’s an opportunity for the serious painter to address issues that are bigger than mere craft. As you work shoulder-to shoulder with an experienced professional who gladly coaches, motivates, and shares wisdom you may:
- Give your art a mid-course correction
- Create an action plan for the future
- Define where your career is headed
- Or, if you just want to paint with a “guide” without reevaluating your life, you can do that too.
