This was one of nine tiny homes I rented for a surprise birthday weekend for my husband. I chose this for the location within the community and access to the pavillion. The only negative they provided was the coffee filter was dirty couldn't be used. I know management will address this, as they have been very attentive and accommodating to any request we had. Otherwise, my friends gave this home rave reviews.

Very tiny house as expected. The hot tub and outdoor space in general were great. Not quite as private as we had expected; other tiny homes were very nearby. The hiking trails were interesting and much better than expected, although the trail to the waterfall was difficult. Perhaps it was the timing of our visit, but mornings disturbed by lawn mowers and leaf blowers were not ideal.

We had a great stay. We couldn’t get the hot tub to heat up, but they were very fast to send someone to get it working. The communication with the staff is fantastic as well. Highly recommend to everyone!

From day one of looking at the rentals online, the communication with management was super easy. They were always fast to respond to any questions I had. The check in process was well explained and could not have been easier. We went to a concert at The Caverns. It was super close. I would recommend this community and this tiny house to anyone! I only wish we had planned to stay longer. Two nights was not enough. We will definitely be back! Thanks so much!

Great little escape from the city. Immediately went hiking to the deer lick falls trail. Too bad it was only a trickle. Not much of a waterfall to see but the scenery was breathtaking. Loved the hot tub! The propane grill worked fine for the few burgers we made. The right side pilot is out and callapsed. Overall I would definitely book it again.

Loved it, had few minor issues, no wood for outside fire, the lava pit would only work on low, the hot tub was dirty with tree blossoms in the water, and the bathroom faucet would only trickle.

I would spen some time there again. Host was great to work with.

The Retreat in general is a great place with trails, common areas, playground etc. The specific home we stayed in was amazing as well. Very clean and well suited, the porch areas and hot tub were very relaxing as well. Your kids will love the loft! We will be staying here again soon.

We travel a lot and have stayed in some really nice places, but this was one of the best trips we have had!! Staff is great, friendly and knowledgeable. The area is secluded and beautiful , but there’s everything you want or need relatively close. Excellent restaurants and shops close by. The bungalow we were in was so cool. Comfortable, well equipped and just cool!! We are already planning our next stay here. But this time we are staying for at least a week.

Bungalow by the falls is a nice tiny home! Clean and comfy, this was a great weekend getaway. Hot-tub was great on a cool January evening!

The place is nestled in the woods and is very peaceful. It feels great to relax in the hot tub after a long hike. There is also abundant firewood for the fire pit, and a lighter (you might have to get a fire starter or a lighter fluid). There are other houses near this one that are similar but they aren’t so close as to invade your privacy. It is a little difficult to find in the dark though. Overall a solid relaxing place in the lap of nature.

Getting to the place was pretty easy in the daylight, but after making a quick run to the store after dark, the entrance was hard to see. A light on the sign would be extremely helpful and some reflective numbers on the lot posts would be awesome. The response from the hosts were quick and helpful. Overall would stay again. Tiny house was clean and well furnished.

Our favorites about this wonderful cabin… close to the playground, close to the trail head to Deer Lick Falls, hot tub and fire pit on the back deck, the kids LOVED the loft, was super cozy and had everything we needed :) I would def recommend staying at this cabin to anyone!!

We loved our stay at this unit, the only improvements I’d recommend, fixing the bathroom lock, says it sleeps up to 6 but only 4 towels provided, not enough trash bags, and the hot tub temperature would not get above 95 which was rather chilly on the cold night we had. Great location by the pavilion, play ground, and trails, awesome back porch with gas and electric fire pits Would stay again!

Had a great Stay at the Retreat! My 5 year old loved the loft space. I was planning to hike and be out doors but it rained unfortunately, It was the best thing that happened! We stayed and enjoyed the cabin and the gas fire pit under the awning, very relaxing time.

We had an overnight girls trip with my mom, sister, and niece. It was exactly what we wanted—a comfortable place to hang out so we can chat and laugh and relax. It was perfect!

The stay was very peaceful and there was always something to do, the hike down to the falls was so beautiful. My boyfriend actually ended up proposing down by the falls and the whole thing was just perfect couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The hot tub took a while to warm up but after it did it was perfect. Amazing trip I would go back every weekend if I could!!

If you are looking for a perfect tiny home experience this is the place. There is also a beautiful hiking trail that’s not to difficult to a waterfall. Would definitely recommend and we would also come here again.

We stayed there for one night over the weekend. I enjoyed the surroundings; being in the woods. It was a neighborhood of houses just like this one so there was a nice community feel. The house was great with all of the amenities. It had everything to cook dinner with in the kitchen. I really enjoyed the outdoor space with the jacuzzi, fire pit, and patio seating. The bed was very comfortable. The decor was super cute. The downsides was that it didn’t have a dishwasher and it wasn’t as private as I assumed from the pictures. The neighbors are right next to you. But other than that, I had a wonderful time and experience.

The home was even better than the pictures. Hot tub needed a long time to heat up properly, but the host was so responsive. Hiking on property and proximity to other trails was excellent. We will be staying there again. So quiet and peaceful.

First time staying in a tiny home. The Bungalow was very cozy with all the amenities and the deck with fire pit was amazing. Can’t beat the location especially if in town for a show at The Caverns. Don’t skip the waterfall trail on the property. Definitely worth the short hike. Would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I have been coming to the Deer Lick Falls community for the last three years. We’ve stayed in different tiny homes which were all exceptional stays including this one. We especially loved the outdoor patio area with the outdoor fire feature. We will definitely be back again.

This spot is so cozy! It hosted all four of us (2 adult couples) quite well and had everything we needed, all in an adorable package. Other pluses are that it is quiet, directions to the specific home were accurate, and the owners were very accommodating. Thanks, y’all!

What a beautiful spot. We have been to this community before, but the first time in this Tiny Home. The Deck is amazing and really well laid out. Spent a lot of time outside enjoying it all. Great fire pits. There was plenty of propane for the Grill/Firepit. The Hot tub was really nice and clean. The house itself is really well designed. Great use of space. Good kitchen and the dishes, pots, and pans were plentiful. Beds were comfortable. The kids loved the Loft and the space upstairs. We loved this Tiny Home and will certainly be back!

We had a great time at this tiny home. It was our first time staying in a tiny home and we absolutely enjoyed it. We never felt cramped or tight. My husband and I had a long weekend getaway for our wedding anniversary and this is just what we needed. We loved the porch setting. From the gas fire pit, to the solo stove and the hot tub it was so enjoyable. This home is perfect little walk to the trail that takes you down to Deer Lick Falls and although the fall was dry, it was still so pretty and worth the hike. We were expecting a tad bit more privacy when it came to how close the homes really were, but we were still very pleased with the location. The home itself was clean and very well organized. We will definitely be back!

Super cute use of tiny space! Just my husband and I stayed and the tiny home was neat and clean. Lots of towels provided for our stay. Decent bed/pillows provided in the main bedroom(which is always a plus)! Excellent Wi-Fi. Very good location with decent places to eat (mainly mountain goat cafe). Do not go to Rosie’s (🤮). We utilized the hiking trail on the property and it took us about an hour. Check in was easy and the property in whole was very nice. Would recommend

Wonderful for that peaceful getaway from it all. Easy to find. Had no issues while at the tiny home. Was located in the Deer Lick resort, so we traveled to the Lake resort and it feels very big, but has a very, very nice dock to the lake. Will recommend to anyone and will defiantly be back.

Great getaway. Cozy place to relax and unwind. Great food at the Goat Market and fun zip line adventure with Bigfoot! Hot tub was wonderful to get in at night and loved the outside lights. Just exactly what we needed.

The thing we probably enjoyed the most was the hot tub. It was great to sit and relax after a day of hiking. Overall we loved our stay and would definitely recommend others to stay as well.

This is such a fun spot to stay. This is really close to the caverns, which is one of my favorite music venues, and tons of outdoor recreation. The tiny house is cleverly designed and the deck space is amazing. Love the solo stove.

I strongly recommend the Retreat for a getaway! The Bungalow is just as described in a quite location, close to great hiking, and a beautiful place to get away. I've stayed in the Retreat several times and will definitely return.

Bungalow by the Falls Tiny home did not disappoint! The house was adorable, clean, and had everything you needed for a relaxing and wonderful stay! The hot tub was nice after a supper cooked on the grill. We enjoyed the gas firepit outside. The hiking trails were also very nice around the Retreat especially the trail to Deer Lick Falls. This place is also very convenient to other waterfalls and places to eat. We enjoyed eating at Top of The Rock and Redpoint Inn in Jasper!

You won't believe how well the Bungalow tiny house makes use of space! I went for an overnight with 2 girlfriends and we were all comfy. the kitchen is great, the deck fantastic, and such a swell hot tub. It is rather close to a lot of other houses, but the trees do give you some privacy. Oh, and really clean and good communication.

How much charm can be put in a small space? This place was a perfect comfortable place to call home for 3 nights and 2 concerts at The caverns. Lots of Mother Nature, hikes in the area with one location privy to only people staying in this community. Everything you need right there!!

I highly recommend visiting. The community and the bungalow by the falls was worth every second. The tiny house is beautiful. Plenty of trails to walk and parks for children to enjoy. The falls are stunning. The staff were exceptionally helpful. If you’re thinking about booking with the retreat but aren’t sure, do it. You’ll thank yourself when you arrive.

The property was absolutely amazing. We stayed in that back deck 99% of the time! It was a short hike to deer lick falls. Which was absolutely gorgeous. The host was quick to answer the phone when we got lost checking in. The whole experience was wonderful!

We had a great time here. The cabin had nearly everything you could need during your stay. It felt warm and was comfortable. We plan to return to The Retreat in the future.

This was a “man trip” for just myself and my 8yr old son! We didn’t need much room. And that loft was the most impressive of it all for my son-it was perfect. We actually never even used the downstairs bedroom… camped out in loft! Kitchen/laundry area were laid out and accommodating. We sorta wished the hot tub would have cranked up hotter, but still an excellent addition to the trip, especially after over 12 miles hiking in only 2 days. I cannot think of anything else this home would have needed. All our needs were met in success totally. The hike behind the property down to the falls/creek was as much fun as anything in The state park. I’d give this ‘7 out of 5 stars’! Driveway a bit small for a big full-size pickup- but “small home/ small driveway! Ha!! Everyone wanting to have a quiet low budget/low maintenance hiking trip? These homes are it!! A great trip for us, we’ll be back! Our thanks to this property’s management crew.

It was a wonderful home, and a fantastic time away in an excellent location and we appreciate the great hot tub, indoor and outdoor heaters, the variety of smart devices lights, and the “tiny home” feel. The trails are incredible and we will definitely be back! Be warned, the cleaning fee does not include your dishes (and you don’t have a dishwasher) so we highly recommend bringing paper plates and utensils if you don’t want to do chores on your vacation like we did and don’t want to count on other peoples ability to clean their dishes (we had some dishes with food on them from another guest who didn’t fully clean their dishes.) 🤷🏽‍♂️

We really enjoyed this well appointed tiny cabin in the woods. The hiking trails and waterfall on the property was the best of the 7 we visited over the weekend. Quick drive to other great spots and a few restaurants as well. Easy from the interstate. The cabin itself was very nice and we especially enjoyed the hot tub on what turned out to be a pretty cold weekend. It was a great getaway and we have shared the link with friends. We hope to go back with them next time and get a few cabins beside each other. So fun!
