This tiny house was perfect for family weekend at Sewanee. It gave us a place to retreat and relax for the two of us in between visits with our son.

We loved it! The house was so cozy and cute! Perfect for my reunion with my long distance best friend! Will definitely return in the future. Very quiet and relaxing. Perfect outdoor serene setting. Enjoyed our stay!

Was a beautiful place to stay while taking in some shows at The Caverns.

I do not do reviews, but this one I felt I needed to. We were looking for peace and quiet. We found it. Eagle's Escape had all the accommodations of a typical stay anywhere but that is not what we we wanting. We can watch TV at home., We never turned it on. We had several nice walks and lots of down time by the fire pit. It came a major rain and I was so disappointed thinking our time out by the fire was over, Was I wrong. The drainage was designed that we we in the dry again in a matter of minutes after the storm blew over. The crush and rock gave a very rapid escape to all the water. Very well thought out. The garbage cans, different story..... LOL chased them into the woods. EXACTLY WHAT WE WERE LOOKING FOR! NO CLOSE NEIGHBORS

Great location made it very relaxing & quiet & convenient to downtown Monteagle. Perfect for 2 people - the surrounding hiking trails were beautiful & within a short drive. Would do it again- THANKS

Dear Reader If you’re looking for a cute cabin tucked into this corner of the woods- this is it! Deep in the woods with nature all about the cabin sits in and among the trees. Plenty of daylight fills the setting. The gravel paths are good for cars and a hike The cabin is cozy, well decorated and maintained. Retreat made the experience. Thank you!

Had a great time! Loved the cute little tiny home. It was just what we needed. Our only complaints would be the mattress topper needs to be firmer it was like sleeping in a taco and maybe a grill would be nice other than that it was wonderful

We came for a "staycation" for a little weekend getaway about an hour from home. We experienced 4-5"+ of snow while we were there and The Retreat did everything to accommodate us. They reached out to warn us of the incoming weather and give us information about the neighborhood, including discounts on staying a night earlier or later to be safe and off the roads. They even came & salted our porch and steps while we were snowed in for the weekend! The house and amenities were as advertised. Clean, private, & cozy. Definitely recommend a stay as we already want to come back!

We enjoyed a quiet weekend at Eagle’s Escape. The area provides some diversions such as a wonderful hike along the Fiery Gizzard. We recommend this spot for its wonderful home and the privacy of the lot as the development is being built up. Bring a good book and some beverages. No grill on site, FYI.

This was the perfect place to stay for a last minute trip down to see a show at The Caverns! We felt right at home and will absolutely stay again! The host was super responsive and happy to accommodate an early check in (which was much needed after a 14 hour road trip down)! It was so easy to get to and from the venue as well!

The property was so cute and the location was perfect .. quiet and peaceful setting..! Perfect place to unplug and rest…
