Stayed with 4 other couple that also stayed in Deer Lick retreat. Perfect fire pit right in the center of our tiny home plus one at each house. So nice to sit and visit with everyone. We’ll be back for sure! Clean and comfy!

This is our second stay the Leprechaun Lodge. We are a family of 5 (kids 7,7,9). We love this place. It is well stocked with all the things you need and always very clean. The 2 queen beds upstairs are perfect for the 3 kids to share. There is not a lot of head room but they think it’s so fun! The firepit out back is nice with the string lights and a private little area to hang out. We always go with a large group and the firepit in the middle of the cul de sac is perfect when the group rents the other cabins in the cul de sac. We will stay in the small place again next year!

We love staying here, we had everything we needed. We are planning on coming over again in the future. 🤍 Thank you!

The location was perfect. It was so cute & cozy.

We are a family of 5 (3 kids 8/6/6) and stayed here for a Friendsgiving weekend. We all booked cabins in the same culdesac and it was SO much fun. The cabin was clean, fairly well stocked with kitchen things, and very comfortable. The upstairs loft was perfect for my 3 kiddos with 2 queen/full beds and then another bedroom downstairs for the adults. The fire pit in the middle was the perfect spot for our whole group to hang out and do smores. The only thing we missed was a table inside to eat at (there was a great patio with lots of seats and a table and chairs but it was SO cold that weekend) but that’s just something to plan for next time as there really isn’t a good place inside for a table. I’d 100% stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay here! We had some trouble finding the house but the owner was very responsive and very helpful in getting us to the right location and that was much appreciated!

Lovely little cabin for us to visit with our Daughter at Sewanee. The weather was not great - but we were comfortable in the location . The other cabins are spaced well enough apart that we were able to have privacy. Had all of the amenities we needed and the roads were easy to navigate.

Needed a last minute 24 hour get away. Beautiful tiny home and community. Well done!

My fiancé and I stayed here for 3 nights to celebrate our anniversary. The retreat was beautiful, peaceful and everything we were looking for to spend some time away. The Leprechaun is a quaint little place with a lot of beautiful nature surrounding the property! The entirety of our stay was spectacular and exceptional! We plan on coming back very soon!

Comfy and clean

This cottage was clean and new. Back porch was lovely. Cottage was next to the hiking trail which was convenient. We had a great time. The grounds were nicely groomed. Retreat got back to us quickly when we had a question.

We had a great relaxing time at our tiny house. We had everything necessary for rest and fun. The bed was comfortable, shower worked well, and the fire pit was perfect for hot dogs and s’mores. We’d be happy to to come back and explore new hikes in the area!

We stayed here for an epic concert at the Caverns. This tiny home is quite adorable and very clean! Everything we needed it had! We had steady rain both days so unfortunately we didn't get to chill outside but what an awesome setup outside too! Definitely would recommend!

Really nice place, very quiet and peaceful, great for a family time. Good for walking and unwind. Lots of great parks for camping and nature attractions nearby.

This place was great, loved that it was close to the venue we were seeing a show at and how quite the area was. My only complaint would be the fire pit had a empty propane tank and it was quite cold. Would have been nice to use outside.

Was in Pelham for CaveFest at the caverns. This was 10 minutes away from the venue. Close to a small market for food and gas. Excellent accommodations and the few questions I had were handled very well by the lady answering the phone. She was outstanding and very knowledgeable.

Really enjoyed our stay. Would recommend to anyone looking for quiet and unique retreat.

We have driven by Monteagle numerous times without stopping. Staying at the leprechaun lodge was a great way to see the community, be close to the main restaurants and sites and feel like you are in a quiet secluded cabin. Will definitely make this a look weekend trip again.

Fantastic tiny home! The kitchen is well stocked with any utensils or spices needed to cook. All was super comfy. The shower pressure was divine. The bed was wonderful but let’s talk about the couch. After a super long day at work, I fell asleep on the couch and slept like a baby through the entire night. I woke up refreshed and didn’t have one ache or pain that usually goes with sleeping on a couch. I’ll definitely be staying here again when my company sends me to this area!

Great spot

It was my boyfriends birthday and we decided on a weekend retreat which we spent part of here at the leprechaun lodge. We absolutely loved the concept of The Retreat (tiny home community) and the beautiful trails and private waterfall as well. It seemed a bit pricy for the amount of time we would be there (not even a full 24 hours) but once we got there we were in love with the place; especially the fire pit and outside area. Perfect for s’mores or just sitting around the fire. Cleaning list was reasonable and the kitchen had everything we needed for a romantic dinner at home. I would say the only “downside” was the proximity to the other tiny homes in the neighborhood. Not very private but we enjoyed ourselves all the same. Host was very responsive and accommodating. Can’t wait to book again!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Leprechaun Lodge. The space is nice and in a peaceful location. A couple of improvements: 1. To check in or check out early/late was a $25 fee. This seemed ridiculous to me as I only asked to check in one hour early. Seems like I was being nickeled and dimed. Check out is at 10 am which seems kind of ridiculous. 11 am would seem more reasonable. 2. The heater was very loud, which made it disruptive while sleeping. We ended up using the fireplace which was much quieter so it worked out. Just a heads up! Overall, a nice place and the host is very quick to respond! Definitely not a “homey” or personal experience. You can tell this is a business but still very enjoyable.

This was the most relaxing and beautiful location! We are definitely coming back!

The Leprechaun lodge was absolutely beautiful, private, stylish and clean. Our favorite part was the patio and the AMAZING hiking trails and waterfall down the road. The gated community truly felt like a retreat.

This was the best, unexpected find!! We loved every minute of it. It is the perfect size for a couple. It was clean, adorable, well equipped and tucked away in the woods just as described. Perfect weekend getaway. We hiked down to the waterfall, which was amazing. Took our bikes on some local trails and spent a good bit of time just exploring and enjoyed the disconnectedness of this property! If you are looking for an escape, this is it.

This was such a cute cabin to stay in! It exceeded all of our expectations and I definitely would stay again! The house was well stocked with everything you may need. I was very appreciative for that! My only regret is that we did not stay longer. It was very easy to get to on our trip from Florida to Michigan. My kids loved the loft beds and the property is so peaceful. The host was very responsive and we hope to stay again soon!

This place could not have been any better! So cozy and warm feeling. The bed was incredibly comfortable and everything you could need is there! Suggestion would be to bring an axe or your own wood for fire pit. There is plenty there, but no way to cut it. The grounds were beautiful and so peaceful! I would love to make this a yearly trip. The High Point restaurant is a must if you go. Definately recommend! Short walk to the trail for Deer Lick Falls which is quite a hike back up the mountain but worth it! The trail around the property is beautiful with places to stop, sit and relax by the creek along the way. If you are thinking about it.. do it! You won’t be disappointed

The tiny house was amazing and perfect size for four adults. It was clean and accommodating. The location is just 10 minutes to The Caverns and about 45 minutes to Chattanooga. You could literally go on a new hike every day! I would not hesitate to rent it again!

This home was excellent. Everything was clean, the only reason I gave it 4 stars was because there was a broken lock on a window upstairs and someone had cut a square hole in the upstairs wall. I told The Retreat about the issues and they said it would be resolved. The hosts were very communicative and very helpful with everything. We definitely plan on making a trip back up.

Excellent place to stay! So relaxing and even though there are cabins nearby, you felt secluded. Very clean and cozy. Great hiking spots nearby and we found that traveling to Chattanooga was an easy day trip too! Would recommend to anyone and would love to visit again if in the area!!

Our family LOVED this tiny home. It was absolutely perfect! Well equipped, they had everything we needed. They even had a couple of games, cards, and kids books. Which we enjoyed because the weather was a little too chilly for what we anticipated. (it was a midway stop to FL) so we stayed in and enjoyed a family movie and games. The location was quiet and felt very safe. We will definitely will be back!

We had a great stay!

There were a couple of minor inconveniences. Propane tanks for grill and fire pit needed refills. And the battery powered candles didn't work.

This was a fantastic stay! The tiny house actually felt spacious in person, and it was even nicer than the photos. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was well-stocked, the water pressure was exceptional, and the TV’s/wifi worked well. We also loved the abundance of comfy throw blankets available throughout the home. The outdoor amenities (beautiful patio with multiple seating areas, fire pit, etc.) and the beautiful outdoor views were a real highlight. As some of the other reviews mention, the on-site waterfall is a must-see…it is definitely a challenging hike, but worth it! My boyfriend and I said that we would 100% come back for another stay - and this was a ten-hour drive for us! We’d highly recommend this tiny house to anyone looking for a cozy vacation home, with opportunities for both adventure and relaxation.

These tiny houses are the perfect place if you’re looking for a relaxing vacation away from the city. With hiking close by as well as right on site, there is a lot to do. Additionally, it’s roughly an hour drive to both Chattanooga and Nashville, allowing for full days to be easily spent in each city. The house itself was in amazing condition and was lovely to stay in. The friends I went with and I have no complaints and would definitely all visit Retreat at Deer Lick Falls again.

There is so much value in this space. The little cabin was very clean and well maintained but the grounds that you have access to are what really make this special! You can’t miss the waterfall, the hiking trail itself is worth it (but don’t turn back before you make it to the falls). The fire pit area was perfect. Can’t wait to go back! Such a gem.

The cabin is nicely appointed and decorated. The television has a Yamaha soundbar for nice quality sound. The space is modern and rustic at the same time. Beautiful outdoor deck and sitting area but the weather was too cold to use. That means I’ll have to come back when it’s warmer!

Me and my girlfriend really enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean and nice, it was a very comfy and nice atmosphere, the firepit outside was cute and there was a lovely area on the porch with couches and a mini-fireplace. When we were there the heater/fireplace in the living room wasn't working, but we were able to get some space heaters within an hour of messaging Retreat! I felt we had everything we needed, dishes, cooking supplies, and even a few unexpected things like some board games and stuff like a potato peeler that made our cooking easier. Overall a very positive experience!

This is a super nice tiny house with everything you could want for a great stay. The deck is awesome and has a fire table and tiki torches. We did not use the fire pit due to rain but spent a lot of time on the deck as it is covered. It's a nice hike to the waterfall and absolutely beautiful

I needed a place to get some work done and this was the perfect space. It was exceptionally clean and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. It's private even with other cabins nearby, and was quiet and comfortable. I loved my stay here and the instructions and host contact was top notch.

Great place to stay for a quiet weekend getaway. 10 minute drive from the caverns music venue and 5 minute drive from mountain goat market. Take a walk down the road to the deer lick falls waterfall. Bring your own coffee because the nearest coffee shop does not open until 11!

This was a very cute and cozy place to stay. The bed was a little firm than we liked but we still slept good. Water pressure in the shower was amazing. The upstairs loft - it would be perfect for the little ones. As an adult, you are basically on your knees with the ceiling so low. Overall, I would definitely come back!!

Leprechaun Lodge was lovely. We experienced a few cleanliness issues but overall acceptable. The location is amazing, the home is comfortable, beds were great & shower pressure was hands down the best ever! Monteagle has a few gems, grab a sandwich at Northcutt Market, don't let first impressions fool you & also check out the sandwiches & oatmeal cream pies at Mountain Goat Market! Would book again if wanting a great TN getaway.

This tiny house is just perfect. It looks exactly as pictured and even roomier. The inside was cozy and quaint and we loved looking at all the decorating pieces. The large deck had very comfortable chairs and offered quiet serenity especially for morning coffee. I wish we could have stayed here each year for family weekend before my son graduated! We hope to find a reason to return one day!

Wonderful tiny home a short drive to Fiery Gizzard trail and other beautiful nature. Great deck, grill, and heavy-duty salmonella candles. Television worked as expected. Had a very good selection of cooking materials and spices. The community is nicely isolated and very peaceful.

Property very clean. Good internet coverage. My cell phone coverage not 100 percent most of the time. Pavilion was very nice with fireplace and fire pit too. Our house had a fire pit too and a very nice back porch too. Staff that answered the phones were excellent. Overall, a very nice place to visit.

We loved our stay; Leprechaun Lodge was so much better than a hotel with everything we needed, and plenty of room for 2 adults & 2 big kids. We felt well taken care of yet also had privacy and independence. The area is absolutely beautiful and non-toursitry. Trails on the property were great. This was a perfect way to vacation with teenage boys.

Great cozy place to escape from busy life

We loved the house and the community. The house is perfect for 4 people. Had just about everything we needed. Loved the firepit and the gas firepit. Loved all the outdoor space. My only suggestion is to add more towels in the kitchen and to get a new mattress in the master bedroom. The bed is really hard. The community is awesome. Loved the waterfall and the other trails were great too. Also, the location was convenient to other trails, grocery store and restaurants. We'll definitely be back!

Wonderful cosy space surrounded by incredible beauty! We stayed on a chilly January weekend and the home was so well heated we were comfy just relaxing in our tshirts inside. The space was very stylish, clean and comforting. Lovely outdoor area with grill and firepit. TV was all set up with Netflix and cable. The beds were really comfortable. We are both almost 6ft tall and slept really comfortably in the beds upstairs (even though the ceiling is really REALLY low upstairs). I couldn't believe we found this slice of comfort way out in the woods! There is a really beautiful waterfall on the trails behind the community which is a must see. Its about a 30-40 minute hike and a little slippery when wet but totally worth it. We will definitely be coming back to experience this natural beauty in a different season.

Beautiful space that is comfortable and cozy. Pictures are exactly like the location with fantastic hiking trails in in the area. Outdoor spaces where perfect as well. cozy gas fire on the deck, bigger firepit right off the deck and if you are feeling social a community area close by with lots of chairs and eating area and firepit. Had one issue occur during our stay and host responded incredibly fast!!

we loved our time on the mountain at the Leprechaun Lodge. after a rain you can hear the waters at the nearby creek...nice. a perfect get away with hiking trails and waterfall on site. we fell in love with area and purchased a lake house at sister property Water's Edge off hwy 41....we will become full time residents.

This tiny house slept four ladies on 4 queen mattresses! The bathroom was very nice and the kitchen had everything you could want. The porch is incredible with the most comfortable chairs and gorgeous tiki torches to set a relaxing evening. We all had such a great stay and can’t wait to come back! 5 stars all the way!

Our new favorite place to stay. First, kudos to your housekeepers. Leprachaun unit spotless. Beautifully decorated. Outside covered deck and fire pit inviting and comfortable. The waterfalls (Deer Lick Falls) is absolutely gorgeous. Close to great dining and hiking at South Cumberland State Park.

Very comfortable and peaceful it was easy for my wife to walk into no steps.we really loved sitting on the porch using the grill and firepit, then the wood firepit was awesome. The kitchen was awesome to use. The shower , not to be a hand held,was awesome like a message.. we hope to be able to return one day soon. The staff was nice and helpful.

The Retreat and its property is very well designed and managed. The setting is fantastic, the tiny home was fabulous. We did not experience any disappointments or problems with our stay. We definitely are looking forward to coming back. Peace, relaxation and quietness of the forest was achieved without effort. A five star stay and value. Thank you.

We had a great time staying at the retreat and Leprechaun Lodge! We mostly stayed around the property and did the hike to deer lick falls, also just enjoyed walking around the retreat looking at other tiny homes and going down the trails. The home was very nice and my eight-year-old daughter thought it was so fun to be in a tiny home! The outdoor accommodations at leprechaun lodge are wonderful… The private outdoor stone fire pit as well as a propane fireplace and two great patio sitting areas! We brought fire color changing pinecones which made the fire time super fun- highly recommend staying here and I know we will definitely be back!
