Totally equipped and comfortable. Surprised by the extent of outside space ... the back deck, the side yard great for a dog, the outdoor paths, table and fire pit ... outside lighting .... really well done.

This was the getaway my dog and I needed! The fenced in yard and the rest of the outside space was great for me to relax and Goose (my doggo) to explore. Secluded, but not to the point that I felt unsafe. Saw a lot of deer and hearing the water behind the house was as so relaxing! The string lights outside did not work the entire time I was there. Wondered if they were solar, as it did rain a bit. But I don’t think that was the issue. I’d suggest checking the strands of lights, maybe they have just gone bad. Other than that, no complaints or issues. We will be back for sure!

I rented nine of these homes for a surprise birthday weekend. The Muse is near the rear of the community and has a long driveway with lots of privacy. Gorgeous house and perfect stay in this one. Had everything we needed. The Retreat team made my experience renting so many of these so easy. They were very attentive and responsive to my questions and requests.

We had such a wonderful stay at the Mure cabin. Our family of 4 fit comfortably with room to spare. Having a washer and dryer in the cabin was very helpful. We loved the privacy and the fire pit outside. The kids had so much fun exploring the area and lounging on the porches. We will definitely be back to this cabin again. The Retreat was so hospitable and accommodating. Highly recommend staying here.

We loved the location, surrounded by woods, and was so surprised to find so many great comforts of home in this small, and very well designed, space. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bathroom and bedroom were well equipped. Great porch in the front and deck in the back, it was great!

The house was very comfortable, clean and modern. Enjoyed our stay. We hiked and used the fire pit. Close enough to the university for important graduation events. Great for our dog who had an area to play in. Would come back for weekend again, just to enjoy the area.

We had a great relaxing weekend at this Airbnb. We especially loved the trails that circled the tiny homes. This house was nicely tucked away and not on the Main Street like some others were, which wouldn’t have been an issue as it wasn’t busy at all whilst we were there. The home had all the amenities that we needed!

Very lovely home. It was surprisingly better than the pictures. Easy to get in the gate and the house with the instructions supplied via email the morning of. Very quiet and serene setting. Everything you need is here, if you want to cook. We chose to go to the restaurants. Papa Ron's Italian restaurant was incredible. The bed was so comfy. The home was really clean. The trails surrounding the community were a fun addition to staying here. An electric fireplace in the living room was a super nice touch. Being able to bring our dog made it our decision to choose this home. We highly recommend staying here, as you won't be disappointed.

My husband and I wanted a night away from the kids & chose the retreat based on the secluded tiny homes. We like to hike so we also chose it for the waterfall access. The tiny home was well maintained and had a nice outside area. The only negative we have is that the pictures show the main bedroom doors open so we thought we could lay in bed and have them open but when we went to open the doors there is a label on it that says to keep the doors shut due to the AC. Very nice home & responsive owners.

The Muse at Monteagle was a great choice for our short getaway. We had never been to this area of TN and loved the location and beautiful scenery. The house had just about every thing we needed and we would definitely consider coming back again.

The Waterfall area is breathtaking! Perfect outdoor fireplace and parking was perfect. We can’t wait to book another visit!

Floor had not been vacuumed An animal had dumped garbage can and pulled trash out over back area-I cleaned it up. The exit gate does not work reliably. Fortunately, someone arrived to enter shortly after we arrived to exit when we left this morning, as we were not able to get the gate to open.

Extremely tasteful and functional decor indoors and out. On secluded oversized lot, provided for great privacy and relaxation. A treacherous hike down to the waterfall offers priceless reward!

We stayed for a few days to watch college baseball at Sewanee. This cottage is perfect location and set-up for 3 or 4 people. It is well equipped, clean, and extremely comfortable. Loved our time there!

An absolute sacred space to get away! Our little family rang in the new years with some memories we will never forget! 100% plan to return again! The space was absolutely GORGEOUS, incredibly clean, and the land itself was breathtaking. Already counting the days to return!

My husband and I snuck away for a long weekend and were looking for beautiful surroundings and a quiet place to relax. Our home was all that and more. We would recommend staying at the Retreat to anyone looking to escape the bustle of city life.

The Muse was a great place for my wife and I to spend the weekend. We attended a concert at The Caverns, and the Muse is only 15 to 20 minutes away. The home was clean an comfortable with plenty of privacy.

The hubs and I chose this place for a mini vacation to celebrate 23 years of marriage and let me just say… I am so glad we did. This tiny home was exceptional! It was so clean (couch cracks needed to be vacuumed) and decorated so cute!! The setting was perfect! I have recommended this tiny home to several people, so hopefully they’ll take the recommendation. The area outside was just right! We hiked a trail that was absolutely gorgeous. County was under a no ban burn, so we couldn’t utilize the fire pit, but it was so peaceful just sitting outside. We both would highly recommend anyone staying here. It is perfect for a couple for sure!! The check in and check out was the easiest we have ever done. And I loved the idea of being in a gated area. Sooo relaxing and peaceful!! Thanks for a great stay and experience!! We hope to be back soon!!

Our stay at Muse during Thanksgiving was great! It's furnished beautifully and very comfortable. It offered everything we needed. This was our first stay in a tiny home and we were very pleased with the location and privacy of the lot. The fenced yard was perfect for traveling with our cockapoo.

This tiny home was beautiful & very comfortable. It was in a tiny home community but secluded compared to the other homes. It had a beautiful fire pit & table outside with lots of space to hangout and relax. The couch was very comfy. Would love to stay here every time we are in town for the caverns. I also liked that it was a gated community. When we arrived there was an issue with the toilet and maintenance came by super quickly to get it fixed for us.

We stayed at the Muse for a week & could not have loved it more! The privacy, peace & serenity of this tiny house can’t be beat. It was set back from the main road & nestled in among the trees. The outdoor spaces offer so much & we spent the majority of our time on the back deck, the fire pit area & the screened front porch. The inside of the tiny house was beautifully decorated & offered everything we needed for our week’s stay. I would 100% recommend this place & look forward to returning for another visit down the road.

So awesome! My husband and I spent our first night of marriage together here after our wedding on our way to the Blue Ridge. It was perfect, clean, cozy, and I’m so thankful for such a sweet time together there!

We were lucky to find a place after my husband didn’t book the other place for the whole trip. The house was beautiful inside and out! Nice private area off the main drive. Within walking distance to the Deer Lick Falls trail on the property. Very thankful it was roped off! Staff was friendly and quick to respond to my questions. Would highly recommend this place! We will be going back for another vacation.

Muse at Monteagle is on a secluded lot with several wonderful outdoor options. We enjoyed the firepit for some nighttime wine and conversation, the side deck for some morning yoga, and the screen porch for coffee. The house was super clean and comfortable and the perfect location to relax and see a show at The Caverns. Very therapeutic!

This house was perfect for us and our two animals! We loved the easy access to a trail on the property. The house itself was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We came here with the intention of spending most of our time in Chattanooga, but the town of Monteagle was so cute that we spent a lot of time there too. You will not go wrong booking this house!

My husband and I LOVE staying here. This was our second time and we will definitely be back again. We didn’t want to leave. It’s close to Chattanooga if you want to do the city stuff and it is surrounded by gorgeous mountains if you want to be outdoors. Overall this place feels safe and peaceful and is perfect for a get away!

This tiny house was perfect. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of towels in the bathroom. The only thing I would ask is for extra blankets to be available. It was chilly at night (low 40’s) and the bed only had sheets and a thin quilt. We will go back! (We will just bring a blanket with us)

In town for a program at Sewanee, we loved how this was convenient, private and quiet, and the walk down to the waterfall a treat at the end of the day. Saw a fox!

The place is great but it is small so there is no place to put suitcases, etc. except on the porch or in your car. Kitchen could use a few more things like a sponge. Hard to clean dishes with no dishwasher and no sponge. Plan to bring shampoo and soap and anything else you need. There is not much provided. All that said property is beautiful with several outdoor seating areas. Looks like they are building a hot tub which will be super nice in the wooded environment. Place is a short walk to the river and trails. Close to Montealegre and the Caverns. Overall a great stay.

Muse at Monteagle was the perfect place for me to getaway by myself for a couple of days! Everything was exactly like the photos and the description. I felt cozy and at home the entire time. I hope to escape again there very soon.

We have been reminiscing about this trip for a month now. It was such a sweet time. Several of the homes on the main property are within close distance to each other, but this one was tucked back in its own special spot. I feel like we had the best one! Well-stocked kitchen, great fire pit, and beautiful trails. And the house was super cozy!

We enjoyed our stay here. It was interesting staying in a tiny house. This floor plan is laid out well and there was a well appointed kitchen. Be advised there is little room in the main bedroom for luggage but there is a washer dryer so Packing lighter is something we will do next time!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Muse @ Monteagle! We felt so relaxed & did everything we wanted to—- napping, waterfall hike, coffee on the porch, fire pit, and a movie night. We live in a beautiful woodsy area of Nashville, but this was next level gorgeous thanks to the autumn leaves. The fully stocked kitchen made meal prep a breeze, too! The master bed was verrrry soft and comfy, but did have a slight dip that caused you to roll to the middle. 😂 We can’t wait to come back and bring our little daughter. This trip/property was truly a blessing to us!

Gated community and this property can barely be seen from the road. Their are several comfotable options for relaxing outside in very comfortable furniture. The inside was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed to make great meals. The TV never went on! We walked to the falls and another trail. We would definitely return! OMG This house was the cutest Tiny Home I've seen. It was the perfect size for my husband and myself. We loved the outdoors area and the screened in porch. I hate we didn't get to spend more time here, as this was a last minute check-in because we didn't like where we were originally staying. I will definitely be back!

Adorable tiny house!! Had everything we needed for our stay! Having the waterfall and trails on property was so nice! Wonderful accommodations and modern inside! One small issue was that the bed wasn’t the most comfortable but it wasn’t awful and the sheets were very thin but they had extra blankets. Wish we had stayed longer for sure because even the outside amenities were great and we didn’t have an opportunity to enjoy them fully!

My husband and I had a fantastic stay! We enjoyed the hiking trail as well as the tiny home! The location of this home was in our opinion the best because it is tucked off! We plan to come back!

We were so impressed on several levels. Being winter, we didn't expect glorious surroundings. But those of you who live in the south know that winter has it's own beauty. And we weren't disappointed. Trees galore, and a beautiful stream running down the backside of the retreat property, with just enough drop to have several mini waterfalls. The cabin we were assigned to had a heating problem. But within minutes our rep upgraded us to the Muse, which we were totally impressed with. Plenty of room. Well appointed with a kitchen stocked with pots & pans, dished, coffee maker, coffee grinder, washer and dryer, and of course a TV. It even has a Traeger smoker, which I'll be using next time. We're looking forward to returning when things are a lovely green, and staying in the Muse again.

The retreat is beautiful! We enjoyed every bit of it with the beautiful location. Highly recommend this retreat to anyone who is looking for a quiet and relaxing vacation.

It was so nice to walk into the home with a cozy ‘fire’ going in the living room (electric fireplace). Everything about the home was comfortable and it contained everything we needed. The screened in front porch was a nice place to sit and have coffee in seclusion from neighboring vacation homes. It was close the the great hiking spots we wanted to see and the local restaurants were very good. We would absolutely stay here again is we have the opportunity. Thanks to our perfect host!

My wife and I had never stayed at a tiny home before. The reservation, check-in, and check-out processes were very easy. The house was clean, nicely decorated, and beautiful overall. The outdoor spaces were lovely too. The neighborhood was serene and nicely laid out. We recommend the hike to the nearby waterfalls and enjoyed many interesting attractions in this lovely area. We were pleasantly surprised during our stay at the Muse and highly recommend it. We look forward to coming again in the future.

Beautiful cabin. We loved our stay. Definitely take the challenging hike down to the falls. It was worth it.

Better than expected. Every little detail was covered. For a tiny house, it did not feel tiny.

This place is so beautiful and the owner is great. The room was very cozy and has spectacular view of the land and animals. I recommend this place to anyone looking to experience nature and a peaceful place to stay. I will be booking this place again in the near future.

This place was amazing. It rained our whole stay but we didn’t even care because sitting on the cozy screened-in porch while listening to the rain was so relaxing. The falls were beautiful and love that they weren’t crowded. We also loved how this particular house was tucked away from other houses. So peaceful! We would definitely stay again! Also highly recommend going to Foster Falls, only about 15 min away and such a great view!

This spot is amazing! We had 2 other groups in different cabins around the area, but this was the spot that everyone loved the most! There is a trail head at the end of the tiny community that leads to an amazing waterfall! We are all beginner hikers, and it was only mildly challenging.. but it was gorgeous! The cabin was gorgeous, well stocked with all the amenities one would need. Right down to the coffee! The fire pit at nice was so nice, be sure to grab some fire wood! We even used the grill one night. All in all I would highly recommend and would love to take a girls trip to this place again in the future!

Wonderful location! Beautiful and relaxing with convenient hiking nearby, this place was great for an anniversary getaway! Even though we had some issues with cleanliness and comfort (the bed is not comfortable; a lack of curtains creates awkwardness in the loft and an obstacle to sleeping in in the bedroom), we were still talking about possibly coming back! It's such a beautiful and relaxing little tiny house community tucked in the woods!

This place was beautiful. I loved the option that they would pick up our groceries and they would put it in our cabin for us. When arriving the door to the cabin was wide open and the A/C was froze up. The number to call goes straight to a voicemail with no personalized message, so I wasn't sure if I had the right number or not. I had to email, but by the time they emailed back I got the A/C to work. We were only left with one kitchen towel for dishes and no extra trash bags. We did find a cockroach in the kitchen and brought it to their attention and was told they would address it with the owner. I haven't heard back from them since. The place itself was cute, set back from the road, very quiet. The hike to the water falls was great. We enjoyed the fire pit and the screened in porch. I would suggest board or card games because the TV doesn't work well with the internet. We were stuck inside with the rain one day and it would of been perfect for TV lounging or to have something else to do.

Just walk right in and enjoy the beautiful and peaceful surroundings! You will only need groceries. This home was equipped with EVERYTHING you need and then some! They provided extra towels and all the other necessities. The hiking and the falls were wonderful and so nice to have them on site. All I can say is that I loved it there so much I bought a home in Monteagle! You will not regret choosing this place !

The tiny house was great for our purpose. We drove from Louisville to see a concert at The Caverns and the Tiny house was only about 15 mins away. The code based check-in was nice. We loved the place and location. The only issue was the bed; not too comfortable - seemed like they went cheap on the frame and box springs, but not bad enough to prevent me from returning.

Spent a weekend here for our 25th anniversary. Had a lovely get a way in this “tiny home”. Beautiful inside and out. Wonderful decks and outdoor seating and fire pit. Quiet and private and very clean. Excellent hiking along the Fiery Gizzard. Loved hiking to then swimming at Foster Falls. Would return every year it was so nice.

Beautiful outdoor area, we very much enjoyed the fire pit and having the fire wood. Lovely stay, the screened porch was wonderful for early am coffee and the rain showers.

It was very pretty and modern, the beds and couch were very comfortable and had many extra blankets. There is so much outdoor sitting to relax. It was a great get away, highly recommend.

We loved our stay in this tiny home so much! The patios and fire pit made our evenings relaxing after busy days of hiking and exploring Chattanooga. The space inside was beautifully designed and a great fit for our little family. We hope to return here someday.

Great retreat for a couple - will certainly be back!

Cute tiny house and community. Loved the area and short walk to the beautiful waterfall. Some of the bed linens were torn and kitchen needs a new can opener, but otherwise, place was great. We’ll definitely be back.

We are super impressed with Muse and will definitely be back in the future. It is in a great location that is a bit more private than the other tiny homes in this community. Everything was super clean and well stocked. We loved staying at Muse!

Wonderful Stay! Very Clean! Did find one spot on the bed in the main bedroom that came up when I wiped it. Washing powder should be provided just in case. Very Beautiful and quaint. More Lighting should be added to the side where the fire pit is. For it to not be fenced in it was very uncomfortable for just me and my mom at night trying to enjoy the fire pit when the woods were exposed to us. Instead we enjoyed the pit in the more lit up area in the center of the retreat park to feel more comfortable. Upon arrival, our code wouldn’t work for us to get in the tiny home. I did have to contact management to receive a new code. Their response was quick. Overall a great stay! And will return again.

It was a wonderful space! I would highly recommend this one! It is located in a more secluded spot in the retreat group and allowed for more privacy and to feel more away from things. We loved having our hammocks out and just enjoying all of the space indoor and outdoor. The owner took great care to decorate and create an environment that just felt like a private little oasis!

I will definitely go back to this property. It was set up nicely and they had everything I needed. Lots of dishes and cookware. Lots of linens. Plenty of chairs outside around the fire pit. Couch was comfy. And it was set up with style and everything was upgraded. I doubt it was older than 5 yrs. Super happy about my stay

Great place! Very clean and check in was easy. The gated Retreat community is nice and looks like some new tiny homes are going in! The trail to the waterfall is tough, but worth it!

Loved this place, went for my honeymoon with my husband! It was so peaceful and the waterfall they have on the property is incredible! This spot is secluded and romantic and the perfect distance from Chattanooga and Nashville!

Loved this place! Such a cute tiny home. Perfect space for 4 people. I will definitely book this place again, and hope to bring more friends, since there are multiple rentals on the property! Also, a great place to stay if you are visiting The Caverns for a show. Only a 10 minute drive from the retreat. We went on a hike at Greeter Falls too, which I also recommend! The hike is rocky, but seeing the waterfalls is so worth it. Thank you so much for hosting us! 💗

I seriously can't tell you how much I enjoyed that property. I was very impressed by the setup. The style. Lots of dishes and cookware. Plenty of linens. Lots of chairs around the fire pit. Was not surrounded by other houses either so that was a big bonus as well. Couldn't be happier with. I'll be back :)

This space is amazing! The house was immaculate and loaded with stylish amenities. There are multiple decks and patios that made time outside comfortable and enjoyable. Though in a community of tiny homes, this one feels very private and somewhat secluded. We will definitely be back!

Everything about this place is beautiful, inside and out! Well organized and beautifully decorated, it was move-in ready--and honestly we would live in this place and call it home! Additionally, it is very secluded from neighbors, very private. Truly a wonderful place to relax and enjoy!

The unit I stayed in wasn’t the once pictured but was similar. The unit was clean and the host was accommodating with the surprise winter weather warnings and safety concerns. Definitely want to come back in the summer.

The Retreat is a wonderful alternative to a hotel or B&B. If you like natural beauty mixed in with creative architecture and design this Retreat is for you.

We absolutely loved staying here...probably one of my favorite Airbnb’s of all time! My only wish is that we had more time than just the one night we had stayed here on a long cross-country drive. It was the perfect “relax and recharge” place. A beautiful, comfortable, and very clean tiny house...we will definitely be back...but for a much longer stay next time!

Beautiful location, lots of extra room outside at this tiny home (#54). The hike down to the waterfall on property is a must. The home was perfectly clean, decorated very well and plenty of room to relax outside as well. Highly recommend this place!

We enjoyed every aspect of our stay at the Muse. What a wonderful Valentines Day Retreat. We liked it so much that we purchased a lot in the Retreat at Sunset Bluff. Looking forward to creating our own Tiny home retreat.

My wife and I would highly recommend this fantastic tiny house. It was very clean, stylish and the layout is extremely well thought out. The only down side is the sleeping might be a little cramped for 4 adults. That being said, it has a fabulous outside eating area, fire pit, and screened in porch. We would return in a heartbeat the next time we are in the area.

This is the perfect getaway. The tiny home was beautifully decorated, extremely clean, and cozy. This location (on lot 20, house number 54) has plenty of extra space surrounding it, unlike some of the other homes which are basically side by side. Additionally, from the back deck you can hear the waterfall. Unless you have limited mobility , I highly recommend going to see the waterfall on property. It is, however a bit challenging. If a need arises, the property manager is very efficient and promptly tries to resolve the situation (we needed some aaa batteries for the tv remote). We had a wonderful time. Would highly recommend this property and look forward to coming back.

We adored our stay here. The space is cute, clean, and so cozy. We loved how private it felt and really enjoyed the surrounding area. There were great amenities, fast responses, and everything that we needed for our stay. We recommend taking advantage of the hikes on the property (especially the waterfall!) and we can’t wait to come back again soon!

The Muse home was everything me and my husband were looking for. The space was cozy and not too cramped and it SNOWED!!! We had been praying for snow and it was everything we hoped it would be. This was a small honeymoon for us but we couldn’t have asked for anything better. Everyone should visit Monteagle, it is truly beautiful.

This is a great little retreat. Would love to come back for a longer stay: A great way to try out tinyhouse living.

We totally enjoyed our stay in The Muse. I must say, I slept better on that bed than I have in quite a while. I have several chronic diseases/pains, and those nights were great !! The house was well stocked with kitchen items. We loved the glowing ''fireplace''. I'd love to have one in my home ! Thank you all for your hospitality !!

The Muse is a wonderful tiny home retreat secluded nicely off the road. It’s a perfect place for a small pet with a perfect fenced in area for your four pawed loved one to enjoy fresh air and nature. The property is definitely a consideration for a second visit!

It was an enjoyable experience, but we had a few issues, tv sound would work, fireplace remote needed a battery (they brought us a new one), propane tank on grill was inoperable ( they replaced it), no iron on property. I guess someone took it. We had a nice time besides these issues and will probably return.

The Muse at Monteagle is the perfect tiny house for a relaxing get away. Very clean and location within the property setting is outstanding. It is definitely one of the best tiny homes in terms of location and amenities. The extra landscaping is a nice touch. Sits among the trees and offers screened in porch, back deck, side deck and step down fire pit area with seating. Very quiet and safe. Easy check in and quick response from rental office. Highly recommend.

This place blew away all of our expectations. The home is beautiful and cozy. The ambience is great, and they have every amenity that you would have in a 5 star hotel except in a cabin in the woods. We stayed here for our first stop on our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. The hosts did a great job communicating everything we needed to know, and we will definitely be back!

Can’t wait to rent from here again.

We enjoyed our stay here so much!!! It’s nestled perfectly in the woods with coziest atmosphere! It’s designed so beautifully on the inside and out! We are already wanting another stay here and can’t wait until we can come back!!!! We recommend hiking down to the water fall! It’s a very tedious hike on the way down and up with some very narrow paths but overall, WORTH THE HIKE! Just don’t forget your mountain hiking shoes lol If I give 100 stars, I would!!

An amazingly peaceful stay to reconnect with kids and my mom after months of distance due to pandemic. Great location to relax but still within reach of great areas like Chattanooga and Nashville. Will definitely come back :)

It was a very very nice clean and spacious, well laid out. The outside living space was simply awesome. Lots of areas to choose from. I had my grandkids that live in the area come over and they enjoyed the play area for smaller kids. We will be looking to stay here again.

My family had a wonderful Labor Day Weekend at The Muse. Place was quaint, neat and clean. Enjoyed eating outdoors and roasting S’mores. Hiked to the Falls which was very enjoyable. The only negative was that we unknowingly agitated a nest of Yellow Jackets as we were loading the cars to leave, and my wife and I were both stung—me twice. Please watch out for them! Otherwise, a wonderful visit. Will return!

Super cute and clean tiny home/cabin in a secure gated community. We loved spending the night here after a long drive from Iowa! Gorgeous wooded and secluded setting with lots of outdoor hang out spaces. Clean and modern inside with all the amenities of an upscale hotel but more space!

It was a fun experience to stay in a tiny house. We loved the screened porch and enjoyed walking around the property. The Muse was comfortable and clean. There are lots of good places to hike in the area.

What a beautiful retreat! This place is the embodiment of the word retreat. Located on top of a pretty big mountain, this specific property is set away in a secluded part of the community looking back only at the woods. It’s definitely super private! Step out onto your screened in porch for a perfect morning coffee, sit around the fire pit at night, or enjoy looking at nature from the master bedroom porch- this place is perfect for anything you want to do. The inside is modern and well equipped. We loved the decor and comfy living room couch! What a great way to spend my partner’s birthday!

This is a great little sanctuary. Adorable community of tiny homes, and this one appears to be the best. Nicely decorated.. so cozy. We were happy and cozy indoors and absolutely loved the beauty of the outdoors. Whatever you end up doing.. relaxing or active.. you can’t go wrong or feel bad about it. Exactly what me and my boyfriend needed. We are already trying to figure out when we can come back!

My husband and I got to stay here on our first stop for our honey moon! Holy cow was it amazing. The perfect spot to relax and refresh. So isolated and secluded. It’s a tiny home, yet it feels so homey and cozy. Highly recommend hiking to see the waterfall and going into town to the Mountain Goat Market for great food and souvenirs! We stayed here for a weekend getaway. It was perfect! The tiny house is a adorable! Beautiful decor equipped with everything we needed. The kids loved the loft area! We all enjoyed the outdoor living which is probably one of the best outdoor spaces in the neighborhood! We walked all of trails, and we especially loved the waterfall. We participated in the “Pathfinders” event which was a hike led by a state park naturalist. Very interesting! We can’t wait to visit Muse again!

This was the perfect spot for a quiet getaway in the midst of COVID. Not only was the house one of the most private among the whole community, it was stocked with all the appliances + amenities you could think of: washer/dryer, coffee maker, coffee grinder, pans, pots, crockpot, toaster, plates, knives, the list goes on. You do need to bring basic kitchen items like cooking oil, spices, salt + pepper, baking sheet, Saran Wrap if you decide to do all your grocery shopping before. The only thing was that there was no extra TP or paper towels, though we were “guaranteed” 2 rolls, we only got half of one and had to venture out to buy some more for our extended stay. The trail nearby was absolutely perfect and only a little steep and we were so pleasantly surprised by the beautiful waterfall at the end! The house was absolutely beautiful and we loved grilling out on the deck and resting among nature on our getaway. The other houses seemed full but we were a good distance away so we didn’t feel like we were in a bustling neighborhood. Would definitely recommend - we loved every minute of our stay.

Muse is the absolute perfect spot for our anniversary getaway. The house itself is incredibly well built and stylishly appointed. There are thoughtful details in every part of the decor. The outside spaces - decks, screened in porch, and little yard - are all equally magical! The Retreat is perfectly centrally located to hit all the hiking spots nearby and the restaurants in both Tracy and Monteagle. We will absolutely be back to the Muse! It rained a lot when we were there, but it didn’t bother us at all, knowing that we had peace and relaxation waiting for us back at the house :) We can’t wait to come back! We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at the Muse! We had never stayed in a tiny home and we were surprised by how large it lived. The outside space and multiple porches were incredible and we were blessed with great weather while we were there. I love the how light and open the home is and the decorating choices make it very comfortable and inviting. The home was also very clean. The lot the home is on feels quite private. The community as whole is a wonderful concept and makes for a great getaway. We can't wait to bring our friends and family to enjoy this place once again!

My husband and I decided to stay at Deer Lick on the last night of our driving vacation. We have been considering purchasing a small home in one of the developments and wanted to see how one of the small homes “feels”. We are so glad we did and believe the Muse was just what the doctor ordered. The home is well positioned in the development, further back, quiet and private. The screened front porch was awesome and we could hear the water from the back deck. The home was well appointed and like new-we had everything we needed. The bed in the master bedroom is so comfortable and beckons one to lounge longer. I highly recommend this small home to anyone looking for a peaceful, private home away from home!!

Great weekend getaway. The house was perfect. We enjoyed sitting out by the fire and on the back deck at night. The area has a lot of great hiking and definitely check out the waterfall right there on the property. Neat campground/tiny house community.

We loved the muse. We had a perfect Fourth of July with family and friends and hiked down to the private waterfall. The property feels very private and safe. We will be back.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Muse. Due to the pandemic, we were looking for a secluded, private rental where we could cook all our own meals to avoid eating out. The Muse was perfect for our needs with a fully equipped kitchen and the tiny house community was a welcome respite from our urban lives. We will be returning!

Perfect getaway if you want a quiet, private retreat nestled in what feels like a state-park campground. Sounds of children riding bikes and the smell of wood-burning fire pits in the evening. Quiet mornings perfect for hiking the trails located conveniently within the development. Beautiful countryside for early evening drives around the mountain. Near multiple small towns with a few options for food, but bring food to be sure you have what you need. The kitchen was perfect for cooking full meals, and the living spaces were comfortable for a quiet night of reading or catching up on Netflix.

The Muse is an exceptional tiny home experience. No detail was overlooked. The home itself, the amazing outdoor spaces and the lovely surroundings were very zen and relaxing. I will definitely stay here again!

This place is PERFECTION. It does not feel "tiny" at all because the layout is perfect and it's a beautifully designed home. The outdoor space is fabulous. You feel secluded but are in the midst of an awesome community! Be sure to hike to the waterfall. Fair warning, it's steep and a little intense for small kids but worth the view!

This was the perfect place for our husband-and-wife retreat. It was so peaceful and the sound of the falls from our home added to the tranquility. The house itself was perfect, offering all the amenities and comfort to create a truly wonderful environment. We also loved being able to hike the trail right from our property. This was our first tiny home vacation and we will definitely be returning. And be sure to visit the Mountain Goat Market for fabulous food and unique gifts.

The Muse is a beautiful tiny home at the Retreat with stylish decor and plenty of charm. Tons of outdoor space with a deck off master, porch off living room, side deck and firepit area too! Spacious for a couple or family of 4 with room for kids upstairs in the loft. Short hike to spectacular falls! If you are going to show at The Caverns thisis a perfect location, less than 15 min and very easy to get to. We will stay here again when in the area.

If you're looking for impeccable modern stylings in a cozy space, this is the spot. The abundance of cooking tools and kitchen accessories was much appreciated for those who enjoy home cooking. There was plenty of sleeping space with the loft above and a fantastically comfortable sofa. There were so many small and thoughtful touches including toiletries and coffee/tea. It's conveniently located about 7 minutes from Monteagle for eats and 30 minutes from South Cumberland State Park for hiking. We would love to come back next time we're in town.

We loved our stay at the Muse! We've stayed at other properties at Deer Lick and enjoy getting away there for a long weekend. The Muse was a little more private than some of the others, nicely tucked back into the trees with the sounds of the waterfall below. The place was exceptionally clean and well stocked with all of the things we needed. I imagine the screened in porch is a great amenity to have when it's warmer out to keep away from the bugs.

A tiny house that didn't feel too small. We enjoyed our stay at the house and it was close to our destination at "The Caverns" for live music. Everything we needed plus some on site. I would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Everything we needed was provided, including what we needed for cooking and wifi, which we didn't expect, and the check in and out was super easy. Though we loved the feeling of being out in the woods, it was not far to a great cafe, tavern and grocery store - not to mention gorgeous hiking! Wonderful stay, we highly recommend.

Amazing place. Tiny home is relative because there is plenty of space in and around the house. It was just my wife and I but I could easily see 4 people staying before it gets too crowded. As an FYI when we stayed there was not any Cable or WIFI so dont come expecting that. Beautiful scenery and 10-15 minutes from restaurants and grocery stores.

This tiny house is amazing! It was perfect for a quick getaway to unwind. The bed & couch were very comfortable, and the kitchen & bathroom have everything you need. Highly recommend for couples or families with younger children. We will definitely be back again. It was a little difficult to find at night because the area isn’t very well lit. But it appears to be a relatively new area with more houses being built.
