The stove burner knobs are easy to turn on the gas and even ignite without intention. Just leaning up to take something out of the microwave can turn them on. It happened to me 3 times. Also, wish you had a couple of pods of coffee available for 1 night stays.

Great little place, super beautiful and peaceful!

Was a perfect place to stay for a weekend concert getaway. Very short drive to The Caverns, location was very cool, the property was well maintained, and the hot-tub was a perfect bonus for sore legs after walking all day/concerting all night! It was also nice having secluded-ish areas to hang out other than IN the home itself. The little fire pits and pavilions were great little extras! We will MOST DEFINITELY be back!

We booked 3 nights to celebrate a birthday and spend some alone time together. The neighborhood is so peaceful. The trails are close and make for a nice little adventure. The home is cozy and relaxing. We loved the patio and hot tub. We grilled make soups and enjoyed the outdoor fire pit. A perfect location for our low key relaxing weekend.

The home was clean and tidy. The instructions were clear and easily implemented. The only thing is the bed in the primary bedroom could be more comfortable. It was a foam mattress, which could be difficult for someone with a bad back to sleep on. It was very firm. Don't get me wrong, but I wish it had been an actual mattress. Everything else about the home was perfect.

Our place was clean and taken care of. The Hot Tub was clean. No problems. The area and local trails inside the Retreat were really cool and maintained. We will definitely be staying here again! Thanks for having us!

We had a great stay. Plenty of room for our family of four and nice and quiet. The hot tub was a huge hit with the kids. The town nearby has great places to eat and is very friendly. Close by is Swanee college which is worth driving through the campus to see the old English buildings. Also check out the natural land bridge, many water falls, and hiking trails.

Really peaceful! It is very convenient to places to eat. Several waterfalls in the area including the private one on the property. It has a hot tub which was a wonderful addition. It rained one night during our stay and it was awesome hearing it on the tin roof. It has one bedroom but could easily sleep 5. We would stay again.

Super clean property. We enjoyed our stay!! Everything was exactly as shown. Super cozy. This was our first time renting a tiny home. It was actually quite spacious. Comfy beds. The hottub was a nice touch. Only suggestions would be to (1) ensure propane tanks are full for guests, as stated in the listing. Both of ours were empty so we were unable to use the firepit or grill and (2) the gas stove in the kitchen has knobs that stick way out. 3 grown adults and we accidentally turned the knob to on/gas more than once when maneuvering around the kitchen. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend the property owner. Smooth communication and check in was a breeze! I love Grundy Co.. So much beautiful scenery and fun spots to visits. The Caverns was only a 15 minute drive and we all loved the cave tour! Thanks for sharing your tiny home with us!

Great space, nice hot tub, and a perfect getaway

Great location and amenities. This was a great experience to get out of the city. Nearby locations to hike are a must.

The host was easy to communicate and the house was nice. We had trouble figuring out how to work the heater, but we stayed comfortable for the most part. Idyllic spot in the woods and a memorable experience.

It was a wonderful retreat , can’t wait to come back again !

I loved the place.

We had a wonderful stay in a tiny cabin at Deer Lick Retreat. The host was very responsive and the place was clean. The only issue we had was the bathtub drain did not drain very well. We would come back again.

It was a great location (close to the Caverns), and it was perfect for what we needed for the weekend. Would stay again!

Very peaceful vacation resort of “tiny homes”. We were pleasantly surprised by the hiking trail on the property - whoever pressed the trail did a great job. Had a great time.

We only stayed one night and did not have time to explore the outside area. We spent the day hiking the Fiery Gizzard Trail, so the hot tub was relaxing. It was raining and loved hearing the raindrops all night on the roof. We stopped and ate at Rosie’s Kitchen (recommend for good food and service). The tiny house community was nice. Only thing that was a little confusing was told it was lot #3 and it said a different number. But everything else was great. It was very clean and comfortable. Well stocked for cooking or cleaning. The “ladder” to the loft was very steep, so we slept in the bed downstairs, which was very comfortable. Even though it is called a tiny home, it felt spacious. It was perfect for a quick getaway.

The property was very clean and the house was beautiful. It's small but doesn't feel cramped at all. There is a trail in the neighborhood with a waterfall. I had a great time and would definitely return.

Great location and very beautiful place. Our only complaint is that hot tub did not appear to have been cleaned before checkin, outdoor furniture was unusable because it was rain drenched. An employee told us they should have put rain covers on outdoor furniture but they hadn’t. Also, kitchen wasn’t adequately stocked. There was no colander, no kitchen utensils such as stirring spoons or ladles of any kind, and no mid size pots to cook in. Needs more extensive pots and pans of various sizes and more cooking utensils. Also there were zero potholders and only one dish towel.

Great tiny house community with the peace and quiet to relax, walk nature, group pavilion to socialize if you want to and private access to Deer Lick Falls (which is amazing). Perfect place to get away and unwind.

Deer Lick is always a treat to stay in. The home was beautiful and well stocked. The AC did not work in the bedroom which made sleep uncomfortable. Thankfully it was a cool night and we were able to adjust by opening the window. Otherwise Eve was perfect!! Would definitely stay here again!!
