Everything was wonderful.

Wonderfully attentive to details, meeting all the needs we could have. Quiet neighborhood. Nice walking paths. Loved the hot tub especially after our long drive to Monteagle. Will definitely be back.

This was an anniversary getaway for a weekend. Perfect tiny home for 2 people, has everything you would need. Kitchen was well stock with baking pans, utensils, dishes, cups, etc. It was a great surprise to us to find out the queen bed had an adjustable base that was a very nice experience. Just wished the hot tub patio was a little more secluded but other than that everything else was nice especially the walking trails to the waterfall....it was truely beautiful and peaceful. This was our first time in Monteagle and the area is very beautiful it definitely won't be our last!

Very clean and great set up. Everything was wonderful and we felt at home in a very comfortable setting. Management was quick with responses to questions. The home had everything we needed. What a wonderful place for a relaxing weekend away from the city. We will for sure be back!

This house is so cute and cozy. We felt warm and welcomed as soon as we stepped inside. It’s the perfect place to reconnect with each other and unplug for a couple of days. And the Deer Lick Falls trail to the waterfall was amazing. Could not have asked for a better place and I can’t wait for our next trip.

We had a wonderful stay at Summit and Shore! The home was great, very clean and had everything we needed. The area was so beautiful and there was a lot to do. We plan on coming back again sometime.

What a wonderful weekend! We loved our stay at Summit & Shore House. It was in a great location (near popular restaurants High Point and Mountain Goat Market, as well as University of the South, the Caverns, and popular hiking trails). **THEY HAVE A HOT TUB** which wasn’t in the description when we booked. The main beds in these homes are queens but it was very comfortable. There was a kid’s area in the loft with two twin mattresses, a gaming chair and a TV. The AC and heat worked well. The fire pit was nice. They have smart TVs throughout. All-in-all, exactly what we were looking for: a quiet weekend with R&R!

This is our second time staying and we loved it! Leaves were beautiful and the fire pit was used a lot! We will be back next year!

We had such an amazing stay at the tiny house property! It was the perfect place to relax & enjoy nature after seeing concerts at The Caverns which is less than 15min away! Monteagle is a very cute town and enjoyed visiting some local shops (Mooney’s Market & Mountain Goat Market are a must). Overall, we absolutely loved the property and outdoor spaces, especially the porch swing and hot tub (which wasn’t actually listed as an amenity when booking, so a nice surprise!) We made good use of the kitchen during our visit and while a few more kitchen staples like salt would’ve been nice, it was fully functional. All in all, we’ll definitely be booking another Retreat tiny house next time we’re in town for a concert!:)

This is an adorable tiny house in a whole little getaway full of other tiny cabins; the retreat has small trails and feels in the middle of nowhere. The house itself was super cute and big enough for a group of 4 to comfortably stay for one night. The fire pit, patio, and hot tub are great touches for a fun and chill evening with friends!

This was my second time staying at the retreat, I love the quiet atmosphere for relaxation and the comfort the tiny home offers. Adjustable bed was an added plus , very comfortable bed! Both stays were due to me working in the area. Plan to revisit this fall for some personal time away !

We loved our stay at the Retreat - it was really peaceful. There are several tiny home rental communities in the area, but this one really stands out because of the wooded space between the houses, amenities, and hiking paths. We absolutely loved the waterfall hike - it was stunning and to have it inside the community was wonderful. The house itself was as depicted in the photos and very comfortable. We went to a show at The Caverns and it was the perfect location. We would gladly return!

Wow, wow, wow!!!! This place WAS AMAZING!!!!! It was exactly as pictured. I loved that the tiny home community was gated with a code. I loved that it was about an hour to Chatanooga (lots to explore) and about an hour to Falls Creek Falls (amazing hikes and waterfalls!). The community WAS SUPER QUIET and I felt safe! I enjoyed the hot tub at night time. I did love also that they had a community picnic area, trails on site, and a playground (anyone with kids!). The home was divine perfection and would book again in a heart beat! Great hosts! Each tiny home has different amenities, but hot tub is a must!!!! ❤️ I would definitely check out a different tiny home in the same retreat area ❤️

We enjoyed our time. The house was clean, well stocked, and instructions for checking in were clear and correct. It was also a quiet space, but closer to other houses than we were expecting. Overall, great experience.

Great, cozy spot. Offers everything you need to enjoy a getaway in the woods. 4 stars because there was trash outside in the yard of the property (which I picked up), confusion with the WiFi due to sending me expired information and then insisting I was wrong, and because I found the cleanliness to be less than ideal. But overall, nice trip, great amenities.

The PERFECT location for the Caverns and nearby hiking trails. Very clean and provided everything we needed (some more seasoning would be good though)! Bed was comfortable and the whole place felt like the coziest getaway. Hot tub was working and fire pit was a great touch!

I would highly recommend this place! The home was clean, private, and the hiking trails were amazing. We had a great time and definitely plan to come back in the future.

Our overnight at the Retreat was great. My husband and I went for a quick little trip for my birthday. We loved that for a tiny house, the shower was surprisingly large. We had a hiccup with the hot tub but maintenance was called and showed up fast to fix the issue. It was a great little spot. We’d definitely come back.

Was very easy to find despite it being dark when we arrived thanks to the hosts clear directions. The house was cozy and relaxing, especially with the hot tub. Would definitely recommend for a weekend retreat.

Cute place, we had a nice stay! Came in for a show at the caverns and the location was super close. Finroy Perkins provides shuttle services to a from the venue which worked out well. The hot tub felt great, l the main bedroom bed was very comfortable, and the location was very peaceful. Would come back again!

It's a tiny house, so space is limited. It's in nature, so we dealt with some bugs inside, but overall, it was exactly as described and a fun experience.

Gorgeous home, tucked back into a woodsy, private area!

Summit & Shore House was a very nice one night retreat. It is in a nice setting, well stocked, and very peaceful. Sitting on the front porch after dark was like sitting in the middle of your own private woods, as the night critters were in full force the evening I was there. I find those sounds very relaxing. I did not get to use the hot tub, but it also is located in a private setting, surrounded by lights at night. House is nicely furnished and comfortable also. Most definitely will try to make it to the Summit & Shore House again.

Was an amazing place to stay. Very clean, and the master bed was so comfortable. The loft was amazing as well. My daughter said we need to get one in our house.

The retreat was a perfect weekend getaway

We enjoyed our short stay immensely, it is a very nice location and has all the ammenities that you could want, we here for one night only, but had a great time while we were there.

This was a quick overnight girls' trip, and we loved it! The hot tub was amazing at the end of a day of hiking, and a fabulous dinner at the High point restaurant.

The property is very nice, even though there are other cabins near, it seems that you are very secluded. It is supplied with anything that you could possibly need. The layout of the cabin is nice and everything is easily accessible. Was only there for one night, but will definitely be visiting again.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience. Looking forward to returning!!!

Had a wonderful experience staying at the Retreat! I was in town to see a show at the Caverns, which was an easy 10-15 min drive from the rental. Everything about the tiny home was perfect, and easily accommodated 4 guests. Would stay here again- 10/10!

I have stayed in the Retreat Deer Lick tiny home community several times. This was one of my favorites due to the decor and layout. It was just two of us and the space was perfect. There are many outdoor activities and some great hiking trails in the area. I will definitely be back again in the future.

This was such a beautiful stay, we hope to return atleast once a year to the falls💗 From the app providing all info for the retreat to check in and tips to eat around town, this was a great rental experience!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for an evening getaway and it was beautiful! We loved how cute the house was and all of the amenities provided. We had everything we needed and it felt so cozy from the minute we walked in! This is a perfect spot to spend a night or a few days away. The hot tub and fire pit are great additions to this awesome space. Please don’t pay attention to ANY of the bad reviews. We didn’t feel like anything was uncomfortable or missing. This is such a quaint little spot and we will definitely be back!!

My husband, child and I loved this tiny home! Loved the fire pit in the back and it had everything we needed for our stay! Loved the deer lick Falls trail down to the waterfall. There was not a waterfall because of it the drought but the area is so beautiful!! Loved the property and it was so peaceful!!

Beautiful tiny home with all the amenities! Loved the fire pit and the front and back porch areas, great for having coffee in the morning. Would definitely recommend staying here for a long weekend and checking out all the great hiking trails nearby.

One night is not enough! We love the Monteagle area and all the hiking (Sewanne, south Cumberland park, savage gulch). After a full day of hiking we landed at elevation station and were amazed at how cozy and relaxing the accomodations were. All the essentials (coffee, comfortable bed, linens and towls were provided). We made time for a hike on the trails to the waterfalls which was perfect for a morning stroll. Only regret is that we didn't book for 2 nights. Hope to return!

We wanted to escape the pressures of Christmas. We are from Florida and wanted to have a Christmas that wasn’t 90 degrees outside. The tiny home was new experience and we enjoyed it thoroughly. Very quiet and restful vacation. A must do is visit the surrounding hiking parks with falls. I definitely want to come back again

The tiny house was super cute, clean and had everything you need provided. Loved the trails and waterfall right there on the property! Even though it was a community of houses ours (elevation station) still felt private and quiet. Will definitely be back. Family reunion would be awesome here!

All was great - communication, cleanliness, location, etc. Need more lamps and replacement bulbs. Overheard lighting too harsh and only 1 lamp in whole cabin with a flickering bulb. No iron or kleenex. Otherwise, great!

Loved our stay! Everything was as described and the kids loved the loft. We wish we could’ve enjoyed more of the natural parts around the retreat, but it was raining the whole time we were there. However, the tiny house was perfect and we enjoyed being able to hang out inside!

Clean, charming, great communication, quiet. A few essentials missing - an iron, no Kleenex and not enough lamps. Only 1 lamp and bulb was out/flickering and could not locate replacements. Overhead lighting is very bright, so lamps in living and bedrooms would be nice. Otherwise, great. Thank you!

We had a great time l, it rained our entire stay but that just let us relax and chill. The only thing that wasn’t perfect is the couch is very uncomfortable after sitting a while. That’s just being nit picky though

If you love the outdoors, then stay here. The trail on the property was beyond our expectations. The trails off property are also wonderful. The tiny house had plenty of room for our family of four. The washer and dryer were an added bonus. The location was quiet. A hummingbird even paid us a visit on the front porch. This place was well worth the price. Thank you, Retreat.

My daughters and I loved this place! They even chose to cook at home vs going out. Easy check in, close range to the caverns (highly recommend a cave tour here!) and waterfalls. The place was clean and modern. Adorable!

It was a nice weekend getaway for myself and my husband..the only negative is the air conditioning will not go lower than 70 and it didn't work Friday night

This is a great place to tune out. Our two teenage daughters loved it. Great fire pit and star gazing from the road just in front of the house. This tiny house has everything you need. There is a great waterfall on the property to hike to as well, making the stay complete. You’re not far from the Sewanee campus and Moonies general store is worth a visit!

Don’t hesitate to elevate here!:) such a well appointed and cozy place, and the hike to deer lick falls right out of the neighborhood was spectacular!

Wonderful

This was mine and my husband's second time staying at The Retreat at Deer Lick Falls, and it did not disappoint! We loved hiking down to the falls and sitting outside by the firepit. This cabin also has 2 porches and a gas grill! The weather was perfect and the amenities were great. We will be back! Great for an escape from the large city we live in.

The perfect weekend in the woods! The tiny house felt comfortable and spacious — we took advantage of the full kitchen and loved the homes natural light, thoughtful touches and TWO porches. The property was a 12/10 and it had everything you could need for a low key getaway - a grill, coffee maker, firewood, games and some awesome trails. The proximity to The Caverns was why we booked, but we would return for the fire pit, the community and The Falls!

Wow. This is what we wanted and so much more. I booked this place very last minute for a birthday weekend trip for my husband. It was perfect. It’s a tiny home with plenty of room. The fully stocked kitchen was such a plus for us. The place was incredibly clean and stylish. We loved the window above the master bed. The bed was so comfy and adjustable, too! Everyone had a huge smile the entire weekend and the firewood and pit was perfect for after a snow. We will be back and are telling everyone we know about this place.

My stay at Elevation Station was due to business, but it was relaxing and very nice.

Elevation Station was a (very) last minute decision to get away for my husband’s upcoming birthday. Check in was incredibly easy. We arrived, and everyone was blown away at this place. We were all instantly in a good mood with smiles. It was relaxing and a great place to be for the weekend. We are so glad that we chose to stay here. The tiny homes in The Retreat are all generously spaced apart so you are not just right next to the neighboring home. There is privacy in this well thought out community. Elevation Station is not only efficient, but also super clean and just all around pretty. The bed in the master is comfy. The kitchen is everything that you need. We were concerned that we would be crowded, but everyone had their own space to themselves. The morning light is wonderful to wake up to in the master. We enjoyed every aspect of this place. Now, we want one of our own! Thank you for such a relaxing and well put together place for us to celebrate his birthday. It is one that won’t be forgotten!

This property is ideal for a couple looking to escape the hustle and bustle and just take some time to relax. It is the perfect place for a small family to get away and enjoy nature by exploring the trails and all the things that Deer Lick Retreat has to offer. The hammock, fire pit and outdoor furniture are a great addition to the tiny house. The house was beautifully decorated, clean and very well stocked. We can’t wait until our next trip!

The house was decorated for the holidays which made it a perfect place to celebrate the New Year. The home is also cozy, comfortable and clean. There are multiple trails on the property with a variety of difficulty levels. One of the trails leads to a beautiful waterfall. The outdoor fire pit, located on the front side of the home, is perfect place to make s'mores. Would recommended this place to any family or couple looking for a relaxing mountain getaway.

We enjoyed three nights at Elevation Station in mid-January, and it was a delight! A wonderful tiny home experience and a great layout. Although we didn't need to use the loft, we loved the actual stairs (versus a ladder) to access it. We used the kitchen and it was well-equipped with everything needed - including a quality blender for my morning protein shake! Even though it was quite cold and snowed during our stay, we spent some time on the beautiful front porch. We didn't use the fire pit, but will definitely do that on a future stay. We had one little glitch figuring out the heat, but emailed for help and received a quick reply. We will definitely stay again as it's a wonderful place to stay "in" but also located close to great hiking, food (highly recommend the upscale High Point Restaurant and the casual Mountain Goat Market!), and beautiful scenery all around.

This is our third time staying at The Retreat at Deer Lick Falls (our second time in the Elevation Station cabin), and it has truly become our favorite place for a quick getaway. The cabin was sparkling clean and well-appointed with everything we needed for a great stay. It was even decorated for the holidays this time, which made it that much cozier. Nice touch! This was a great little getaway for the family. The tiny house had plenty of space for two adults and two kids. You are out in nature and very close to hiking trails and the falls. Everything was super clean and well cared for. We are already planning our next visit!

This is an awesome idea for a getaway from the hustle of all the big lights and busy streets. Its tucked back in the woods and the tiny home was perfect. The heat was a little hard to figure out and the tvs, but that was the absolute worst thing.

Went to the office where we met Mike and Bill who couldn’t have been more accommodating We were taken on a tour of available properties at Waters Edge ,and look forward to returning soon. The only issue we had was they were building on an adjacent property and worked late into the night but the issue was addressed immediately.So grateful for our experience

An adorable tiny house, but needed an up-to-date instruction folder, TV directions AND working heating units. Last thing we wanted to do for a relaxing getaway was to be on the phone trying to trouble shoot the heating system. Nice people spoke with us, but that didn't help the problem.

We spent 4 nights in a little slice of heaven... this tiny home had everything we needed. It surprised us how close it was to town but we felt like we were completely out in the country. We loved hearing the rain on the roof... Sitting on the porch and just listening to nature sounds at night and even grilling out and then toasting marshmallows by the fire. Everything rejuvenated our spirits. We will be back!
