This place was all we could have hoped for! The host was very responsive and helpful for a last minute booking. It was our first time staying in a tiny home and it was so relaxing and cozy , especially the morning sunrise over the water! Highly recommend!

The tiny house and property was beautiful. The house is decorated so nicely. The fire pit and lake views were great and relaxing. I wish the house had a TV, but we went and bought one for our weekend stay and had a great time. Lots of great hiking trails around. A very nice community.

It was spring break for us and we enjoyed hiking at the state parks during the day and then relaxing by the fire pit at night watching the sun set over the lake. The screened in porch was a plus to enjoy our morning coffee. We will recommend to our friends.

We’ve never stayed in a Tiny Home before and this was a fantastic first one! Super clean and as pictured. The fire pit outside was just what we needed for a relaxing evening!

This is our second time staying at The Retreat & we left saying it won’t be our last. We love the area. The sounds of nature was a nice break from the noise of the small city we live in. The direct view of the lake was wonderful. Our family enjoyed the playground & walking around the retreat itself. Our oldest is 5 & he loved going on an outdoor scavenger hunt. The local grocery store had everything we needed. The screened in porch was nice to lounge in, as well as have a couple of meals. It did get cooler the final night of our stay, so the electric fireplace came in handy. We drove over to Chattanooga one day, but spent majority of our time at the tiny home. I’ve recommended, & will continue to, this area to so many people. It truly provides a breath of fresh air.

We loved our stay at the Retreat! The home was cozy, comfortable, and the host left clear instructions on how to use the HVAC, fireplace, etc. The scenery was beautiful and we enjoyed the views from our fire pit! We also enjoyed exploring the grounds and our children loved the playground, ladder ball, and bocce ball court. We’re already planning our next visit! 10/10.

We absolutely loved this location. The community itself was so creative with it being a tiny house community near a lake. So beautiful! Our rental was very unique in the sense that it felt like a luxury tree house. Our boys loved it.

Place is exactly as described. If you have never stayed in a tiny house you need to check this place out. Very clean perfect view of the water. The screened in front porch is the perfect place to sit and drink your coffee as the sun rises on the water. Very well equipped and there is an amazing outdoor fire area!!

Great location very relaxing and peaceful !

We enjoyed our stay. Comfortable and clean. We were looking for some privacy which was mostly possible. Some of the rooms have no curtains so we felt it wasn't as private as hoped. We made it work though. We especially enjoyed the screened porch. That was really nice on a rainy day.

Really enjoyed staying here. Fit 4 people comfortably. Got us out into nature and we were able to take kayaks out onto the lake too. Fully stocked kitchen gave us the ability to stay fed since there isn’t a lot in town to choose from. Just make sure you enjoy the people you are bringing with you because you will be very close to them the whole time.

We had a wonderful stay at our tiny home! It’s all of the best things about camping but without all the bad stuff! We loved kayaking on the lake and a beauty hike and everything was so charming! We are already making plans to come back this fall!

We had a great time on our quick Mother's Day staycation. Beautiful home and community. Our family of 6 slept comfortably and enjoyed every moment.

My husband would say, this tiny home wasn’t so tiny! We enjoyed staying here on a cool weather weekend - stayed plenty warm in the living space with the like-a-fire feature and heat plenty warm (with a window open in the loft!)

Very nice. We had a great time, all of the tiny houses are so unique. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need.

We really enjoyed our weekend stay at the tiny home. The tiny home was just perfect for the two of us and was even better in person when we arrived. The community was also great and overlooked the lake. We will defiantly be back in the future.
