Woodland Bliss was the perfect getaway for our holiday weekend! Nestled in the charming town of Tracy City, it offered the ideal mix of serene nature, stunning landscapes, and peaceful lake activities—exactly what we needed to recharge. The tiny house was cozy and comfortable for our 3-night stay, with a well-stocked kitchen that made cooking a breeze. The outdoor patio area was a highlight—so relaxing and peaceful—and the fire pit was the perfect touch to end each evening. We left feeling completely rejuvenated and can’t wait to return. Woodland Bliss is definitely a spot we’ll visit again!

Woodland Bliss was a perfect spot for our trip to Coalmont HOV Park. Very comfortable, offered early check in and had everything we needed. I would book again if we return to the area.

Very peaceful location with a beautiful lake within walking distance. Tiny home was very clean and well set up with everything you would need. Loved the layout of the home. The porch was perfect for relaxing on a quiet morning.

This was cute and cozy spot that provided much needed R&R for the weekend. The kitchen was equipped with everything I needed to put together a charcuterie board one night for my husband and I. We hope to visit again soon.

We had a great stay with Retreat, the location was beautiful and it was a nice area to walk around. The town was small but welcoming, we enjoyed the atmosphere! The tiny home was clean and spacious!! We will be back!

We decided to do an impromptu get away Thursday morning for the holiday weekend. I had looked at The Retreat before and an ad popped up on Facebook so I checked it out . Out of 55 properties there were only 2 available properties so we chose Woodland Bliss at Waters Edge. The house was perfect for us. It was only a short walk to the lake. The location was great, the house was great. The only issue we had was the gas grill had no propane and was very rusty. There was an electric griddle so it wasn't a big issue. I highly recommend a stay at The Retreat at Water's Edge. We drove to The Retreat at Deer Lick Falls and plan on staying there next getaway. We drove to Foster Falls on Sunday and I highly recommend doing this during your stay.

I’ve stayed at the Retreat At Waters Edge multiple times, and it never disappoints! We brought our bikes and kayaks this time and loved exploring the property and water with them. One note I would say to prospective guests is that there are windows that do not have shades and there are a lot of lights outside, so light will pour into the bedroom at night when you’re trying to sleep. Ultimately, we love the retreat at waters edge and have never stayed in a home that didn’t meet our expectation. We will be back!

We were looking for a quick getaway not too far from home and somewhere we could really relax away from the city. This did just that. The community is gorgeous and has a really nice walk down to the lake with a park for the kids too. The home was beautiful and clean. We were hoping for a nice outside fire with s’mores but it had rained the day prior and the wood in the pit was too wet to get it lit. We ended up making them in the oven. We also checked out some local shops and even managed to take our kids on a 5+ mile hike through Fiery Gizzard to see Sycamore Falls and Blue Hole. Highly recommend for small families who don’t need a lot of space!

So glad that we decided to getaway to Woodland Bliss for our 31st wedding anniversary! We were looking for a place to just relax and be together and this place was perfect. For a tiny house it was bigger than we expected and it had all the amenities that we wanted. Other than a quick stop at DG for some last minute supplies, the only time we left was to explore the tiny house community and to eat at High Point Restaurant in Monteagle which is only a few miles away. There are plenty of activities, places and restaurant/bakeries to explore in the area. Because it was so cold outside during our stay we didn’t use the outside amenities but everything looked great (outside seating area, bbq grill, dining area and fire pit) but we enjoyed the fireplace inside as well as the full size appliances to cook a few meals there so that we didn’t have to go anywhere. We played a few games from the loft and put together a puzzle as we stayed nice and warm inside. It was a great, quiet, and restful retreat from our jobs in the ministry and the medical field. The owners also gave a quick response to any of the questions we had. We would definitely stay here again and bring other family members with us.

A+++ Great weekend getaway for my wife and I to celebrate 20yrs of marriage! We live close so it was a short 30 minute drive for us to ‘get away’ for the weekend. The only issue we ran into was not receiving the check in email that contained the specific address and door entry codes. We drove around the property for about 30 mins before giving up and calling for help. Apparently they have had issues recently with ABnB bookings not getting the email. No issues at all from the owner’s end for us, just ABnB. Aside from that, everything was GREAT! It definitely is a tiny home. Perfect for two adults but would be too crowded for anymore than that. Semi-private side and back decks were nice. The home itself was very clean and up to date. The bedroom and bathroom are limited in space, but that’s to be expected in a tiny home. Bed wasn’t the most comfortable, but still not too bad. High Point restaurant is a must if you stay here (seriously), also Papa Ron’s. Highly recommend this place!!!

This is such a cute place, still smells new inside. Very clean with modern decor. We loved the area, the lake and all the tiny homes, a very beautiful set up. Retreat was very responsive with a couple of issues, came almost immediately. Would definitely stay again! About 15min from University of the South.

We enjoyed our stay here. We had a wedding to attend and it was convenient and we were able to visit with other friends and family attending the wedding. The area is very private and quiet! We would definitely stay here again. We didn't cook, but it's wonderful to have a full sized frigerator and oven/stove. Coffee was great too. I have family in SC and hoping we can meet here in the future. My only recommendation for those of us who sleep in...it would be nice to have curtains in the bedroom. There were only two of us, so we didn't use the loft, bathroom is tight, but it is a tiny house. All very clean and nice.

This was the perfect spot for us as we dropped our son off at Sewanee. Quiet, peaceful, clean and cozy with a short walk to the water. The host was very responsive and took care of any needs we had. Great little place.

This tiny house had all the things you really need. I didn’t spend a ton of time there but it was quiet and relaxing. Would go back and spend more time. Property manager was attentive also when I needed her help.

This lovely bright home nestled in the woods was the perfect, peaceful place to retreat. Great areas to walk and explore and easy to access but quiet and serene.

Stay was great. Kitchen was massive! Bigger than my kitchen at home. Cooked a whole thanksgiving spread (turkey, sides and dessert) easy! Fireplace was a beautiful touch as well. Only thing i will say to future visitors, bring extra trashbags/dish liquid/paper towels and if cooking, bring foil, plastic wrap and oil etc. fortunately there is a dollar general literally 5 minutes away so if you happen to forget no worries. Other than that, stay was perfect and cozy and relaxing. Can easily fit 4 adults (two couples) without feeling crowded at all. They have TWO thermostats with fans in each room. And the fireplace heats up quick. But caution, heat rises so it gets warm in the loft but they have a fan up there as well to regulate it. Sorry for long review, just best airbnb I have ever stayed in and I couldn’t help myself.🤣We hope to visit again soon. Also, to the owner, adding a hottub will probably keep them booked forever😜 think about it lol

We absolutely loved our stay in this tiny home! It was far enough away from big city bustle that it was quiet but close enough that we could visit Chattanooga without driving half of the day! We loved the lake on the property and nearby hiking at Fierry Gizzard! The house had everything we could possibly have needed. Loved it and want to return one day!

Great little house. Quiet and peaceful area. Well insulated as we couldn't hear the nearby construction. Very nice to have space to enjoy the outdoors. Not a lot of touristy things to do without a bit of driving but perfect if you're looking for peace and quiet.

Waters edge was extremely nice!! Our family had a lot of fun hiking and biking and when it was time to come back to the waters edge it was very relaxing just like we was at home! This place is very beautiful!

Very cute and cozy ..we relaxed and enjoyed our stay although I was hoping the pool would be finished and I didn’t even see a spot for it ..if there was a pool and some corn hole boards along with some horse shoes in a common area I believe we would be return guests but as of now we will wait till all the construction is done and see what else they offer before returning to this area

This tiny home was so cute and intimate. It had everything we could’ve needed and the neighborhood was beautiful!

We had such a wonderful time at Woodland Bliss! The tiny home was complete with all of the modern conveniences, and the large outdoor firepit and seating area helped end our days. The property was well lit and well furnished, and the owners were quick to respond with any questions that we had. We enjoyed hiking in the Savage Gulf area, kayaking the lake in the community, and visiting the University of the South during our stay. We will definitely be back!

Great tiny home in a community of tiny homes. Quaint area, lovely decor and lots of nearby nature/falls to see. Peaceful lake/dock nearby and enjoyed deck. Construction in the neighborhood and no firewood for the fire pit.

Woodland bliss was the perfect getaway home for our weekend hiking trip. Many hiking trails in the surrounding area. The home was furnished with all the essential amenities and items that one would need. Due to weather we did not get a chance to sit around the fire pit. Hanks corner has some great pub/bar food and an extremely friendly and helpful staff. We will definitely be coming back!!

This place is great. Very clean and the host is very responsive and accommodating. Make sure to take stuff to cook-out as the food options are somewhat limited but all in all, great place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Woodland Bliss! We found the house to be super clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed to prepare our meals. We enjoyed the fire pit and the outdoor space. We will definitely stay here again.

Very nice and clean. Cleanliness of lodging followed by modernity are what I look for most in lodgings and this place exceeded both those expectations. It was raining and cold so we didn’t get to try the fire pit, but you might need to bring your own wood.

Really enjoyed our stay here for Valentine’s Day weekend! The place was very clean, modern, and cozy. We’ll be back for sure!
